Our member Elise Fasnacht has organized a team with the Colon Cancer Coalition's "Get Your Rear in Gear" walk/run to raise funds for colon cancer research in the memory of her mother, former club member and trustee Monica Fasnacht whoes life was cut short unexpectedly last fall by the disease.

The Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society is offering a 10-week Pennsylvania German dialect course. The course is taught by Keith “Butch” Reigart, a former U.S. language specialist who grew up hearing Dutch in his home. Classes offered are for beginners:
Thursdays, March 22 – May 24, 7:00–9:00 pm, and
Thursdays, September 13 – November 15, 7:00–9:00 pm
